Everywhere you recommended, including the restaurants, was amazing. There’s no way we would have found them on a whim, and that made me feel like we had the best experience. I loved trying all the local food, traditional dishes and wines. I feel like we truly captured the city with our tour on day two; the tuk-tuk and cruise on day three were a bonus too. I don’t think you could have done any more for us. We were super chilled and happy, and your information pack was brilliant. ‘What would Hugo do?’ became our quote — and we did everything you said because we knew it would be good! MILAN · MYSTERY TRIPWe were so excited to go on a mystery holiday — we had never done anything like it! I am usually a control freak when it comes to organising a holiday, so it was exciting, and actually quite nice, to put our trust in someone else to do all the legwork. And what an expert Hugo was! When we opened the envelope at the airport, we were so excited to discover we were going to Milan, Italy. The pack was incredibly informative, and we loved reading through everything at the airport. The instructions made everything so easy and definitely took away any stress. The hotel Hugo chose was in a great location, with excellent transport links, comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast. The pack included brilliant ideas and a suggested plan, including experiences we would never have thought of ourselves. A particularly special touch was the pasta and tiramisu-making class booked for our second evening — we absolutely loved it! Hugo checked in with us throughout our stay and was always on hand if we needed anything. He had thought of everything; even check-in was effortless with his help. It was an amazing surprise holiday and something we would definitely do again. Thank you again, Hugo — what an incredible experience! ❤️🇮🇹🍝🍸

From the very beginning, when booking the trip, we felt that everything was being adapted to our needs and preferences. And that support did not end there: Hugo was always available to clarify doubts, answer our questions and help with whatever we needed.
The itinerary was extremely well planned and suited exactly what we were looking for, with all the information we needed, restaurant suggestions and tips that made all the difference throughout the trip.
Even Duarte had his own tailor-made itinerary! Everything was planned around his pace, although he decided that he is not actually a big fan of travelling by car — he must be the only baby in the world who prefers exploring without wheels! 🤣 Even so, he was always happy to come along with us, being carried by his uncles, taking his naps and stopping for a feed wherever we happened to be. He is, without a doubt, a very lucky baby!
Dinis, still in mummy’s tummy, has already started learning about travelling too and, by the looks of it, he is going to have some excellent teachers. 😎
If we had to identify one area for improvement, it would be the app. We think it is an excellent idea with a great deal of potential. We know it is still at an early stage and has room to become more complete — we genuinely think it is worth continuing to invest in it, because it could make the whole experience even better.
Overall, we were extremely happy with the entire experience and, above all, with the personal approach, availability and attention to detail. We truly felt supported throughout — and that makes all the difference.

Wanderlust Adventures by Hugo is an independent travel-planning service operated by a registered InteleTravel UK adviser. Wanderlust Adventures by Hugo does not itself hold an ATOL licence or ABTA membership.
Bookings are made with InteleTravel or directly with the tour operator, airline, hotel, cruise line or other supplier identified in your proposal and confirmation. Protection depends on the supplier and booking type. Before payment, you will be told who your contract is with, which terms apply, and whether ATOL, ABTA or another form of financial protection applies.
Where an eligible booking is ATOL protected, you will receive an ATOL Certificate naming the holder and the protected components. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate, the booking is not ATOL protected. Suitable travel insurance is also recommended from the time of booking.

We collect the information you provide in quote requests, messages and community submissions, including your name, contact details, preferences and trip information. We use it to reply, prepare proposals, administer requested bookings, provide support and meet legal obligations. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, legal obligations and, where applicable, consent.
We share information only as needed with InteleTravel, travel suppliers, payment, technology and communications providers involved in your enquiry or booking. Some may be outside the UK or EEA; relevant supplier safeguards and law will apply. We do not sell your data.
Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally deleted after 12 months. Booking and transaction records are retained for the period required by law and to resolve claims. You may exercise your data rights using the email above and complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the relevant data protection authority.
Cookie Information
This website uses strictly necessary device storage to remember your language choice. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregated page views, referral sources, performance and general device information.
